RPG History: Been rping on paper since highschool, found online rp's back in the onelist days.  But really started in heavily with them maybe 3 years ago, starting with a Lost Crossover game where we played out the crash but people from any movie or tv show could have been on the plane.  Currently in 10 rpg's on Yahoo and 2 on message boards.  I enjoy supernatural settings, mystery, intrigue, romance.  Playing in a lot of tv based games, Lost, Buffy/Angel, Firefly/Serenity, Trek Universe, BSG, also a couple of highschool games. 

Random Questions:

Q. What is the story behind your username?
A. Started going by Myste years ago back in the onelist days.  It's from a book called 'Mirror of her dreams', Myste was one of the princesses there and not that I particularly had an affinity for that character but I just liked the name.

Q. Who is your favourite Lost character and why?
A. Ooh that's a tough one.  My very first instinct is to say Kate because she's flawed and has a lot of layers, but that can be said for most of them.  I think I like that she maintains a sense of vulnerability even after all she's seen and done.

  I love Jack for the same reasons, but also that he pushes himself so hard and is so unwilling to give up even at risk to himself, even when he's possibly even making the situation worse.  But he's such the quintessential good guy, you just want to trust him, look into his eyes and believe that everything will be ok.

And Sawyer, you never know if you should smack him or kiss him.  Just when you think you've got him figured out he does something surprising, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but he always keeps you guessing. 

Q. What habit do you have that you wish you could quit?
A. Goldfish crackers.  They are evil

Q. What's the best gift anyone has ever given you?
A. I'm probably supposed to say something sappy like my kids but... My husband drew me a pic and cannibalized a poem for me, had it framed and it's hanging on the wall for my birthday.

Q. Who do you believe is the smartest man/woman alive at the moment?
A. My brother.  He will rule you all one day.  But I still remember him as a dorky know it all little kid.

Q. What do you want your epitaph to say?
A. She outlived us all!
